Ken O’Brien
Andrew Michael Sullivan is a British-Americanauthor, editor, political commentator and blogger. He describes himself as apolitical conservative, though he has been increasingly at odds with theRepublican Party on many issues. His focus is U.S. politics but he frequentlywrites about culture and society.Sullivan is a speaker at universities, colleges, andcivic organizations in the United States. He has been a guest on national newsand political commentary television shows in the United States and Europe. Bornand raised in England, he has lived in the United States since 1984 andcurrently resides in New York and Provincetown, Massachusetts. He is an openlygay Catholic.
Sullivan is a former editor of The New Republic andthe author of five books. He is perhaps best known as the author and editor ofhis blog, The Dish, which mainly focuses on political issues.

A large number of conservative pundits (excludingthose who are already arguing that the election was “fixed”) are making theargument that the American people failed by re-electing Barack Obama.
It’s reminiscent of the old joke about the surgeon whoexplained that his miracle hands had worked their usual magic but the patient had failed him.
