9. Vote to ratify the contract with House of Destinyfor FY2012 CDBG Grant funds in the amount of $50,000.00.


10. Vote to ratify the contract with Literacy Volunteers for FY2012 CDBG Grantfunds in the amount of $50,000.00.

11. Vote to accept preparations for a New CDBGApplication-Social Services (RFP) as written for new CDBG Application for FY2013 funds.

12. Vote to adopt local option increase to BenefitsPayable to Widows and Widowers of Disabled Public Employees under §101 (Chapter139 of the Acts of 2012).

13. Vote to ratify the acceptance of a MassDOT Grantin the amount of $6,120.00 to purchase a zeroturn radius mower for airportmaintenance and to allocate $1,529.99 towards this purchase from allocated DPWfunds for equipment repairs and maintenance, account # 1.499.5241.

14. Vote to ratify the contract between the Town ofSouthbridge and Stan Kaitbenski, Inc. for the demolition of two (2) derelictproperties for a total amount of $37,535.00.

15. Vote to approve proposed amendments to By-lawChapter 6, Section 6-100 “Licenses and Licensing Regulations for the Town ofSouthbridge” for secondhand junk, precious metals and old metals regulations.                                                                                                    First Reading

16. Vote to request the Office of the State Auditorof the Commonwealth of Massachusetts conduct an audit of certain activities ofSouthbridge Police Department for the period July 1,  2007 through June 30, 2012.

18. Discussion of next meeting date – Monday,October 15, 2012 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers.

Vote to Enter into Executive Session accordingto M.G.L. 39 §23B to review Executive Session Minutes regarding collectivebargaining, litigation, purchase, exchange, taking, lease or value of real property,discipline or dismissal brought against an individual, and, if matter isconcluded reconvene vote to release said minutes.
