Ken O’Brien

He proposed working with his puppet council to hold a plebiscite in the spring. However, the legislation required the vote to beheld in 2012.
In a similar vein our state representative hasoffered multiple rationales to a variety of his supporters, apparentlydepending upon their importance to his quest for reelection, as to why things turnedout this way and why Mr. Clark didn’t know what was in the bills.
Since then the Governor has signed those bills intolaw.
Since then, also, we have heard nothing on thesubject from either Mr. Clark or Mr. Durant.

Now, I realize that there are those who will ask whyI haven’t made an effort myself to get a response from either Mr. Durant or Mr.Clark on this matter. Well, frankly, I don’t think they would even take mycalls. Even if they did, I have to assume that no matter how I reported theircomments I would be criticized as reporting them inaccurately.
If they want to comment, my email address isprominently displayed right at the top of this blog. Any email response will beprinted verbatim. Scout’s honor.
In the meantime however, I can only assume that theyare scrambling in backrooms, not unlike the Romney campaign.
I will give them this much credit, however. UnlikeRomney, they are apparently aware that sometimes it is better to say nothingand look stupid, rather than opening their mouths and removing all doubt.
